They’d just had their first kiss after the preacher declared them husband and wife, and right now it was hard to tell which of them was smiling wider. Kida was still holding her hands tight, their fingers entwined. There’d been far too much noise around them for many words to be coherently and privately exchanged, so it was best to just wait until they were alone anyway.

It was the first real moment they had alone after the ceremony, and now they were on their way to the reception where the party that Kida would no doubt enjoy would begin. Her head was comfortably resting on his shoulder, their hands still being held together and his head was resting on hers.

“Now we’ve got all the time in the world.”

Finally, the moment had come. The blond had always been looking forward to this day. The day that he would be able to call Saki eternally is. He was smiling brightly, probably as brightly as he ever had really. He longed for this day for what seemed like forever. And now that it had come, he wanted nothing more than to simply be with her, tell her how much he loved her. And not once did he let go of her hand.

He figured he’d wait until they were alone now. He had wanted to make certain that it would be a private moment anyway, between the two. He was eager to spend time with his girlfriend turned wife at the party — but before that, he wanted to kiss her again. He could just never seem to get enough of her. Resting his head gently against her own, hands still laced together, he decided promptly to kiss her cheek.

“Yeah. That we do. And I’m glad that I get t’ spend it with you.”
